As part of the privacy policy, SFT SEAFOOD collects and processes personal data.

SFT SEAFOOD collects all personal data that you provide to SFT SEAFOOD or that SFT SEAFOOD receives in connection with your cooperation with SFT SEAFOOD:
– your name, address and contact information, including email address and telephone number, and any other information about you obtained in cooperation with you.
SFT SEAFOOD may collect this information in a variety of ways. For example, data may be obtained from your passport or other identification documents, or collected through a customer questionnaire you completed. We may also collect your personal data from third parties. SFT SEAFOOD may request information from third parties. Data may be stored in various locations, including HR systems, IT systems, including email.
Your personal data may be used internally by SFT SEAFOOD for internal administration.

SFT SEAFOOD does not transfer information about you to third parties, except when it is necessary to achieve the legal, contractual or commercial purposes of SFT SEAFOOD, and also when it is permitted or determined by the current legislation of the Republic of Latvia. Also, if necessary, SFT SEAFOOD may transfer your personal data outside the Republic of Latvia to other companies that are cooperation partners of SFT SEAFOOD.
In cases where it is determined by the applicable and mandatory laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia, SFT SEAFOOD may disclose, for example, information about your purchases made at SFT SEAFOOD, services received, your visits to the SFT SEAFOOD website www.amberfishlv, as well as other information about you and your company.
This information may be disclosed:
· to comply with the valid and mandatory regulatory enactments of the Republic of Latvia and the procedural procedures established therein,
· if SFT SEAFOOD believes in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights of SFT SEAFOOD,
· to protect your safety or the safety of others,
· for the Prevention and Investigation of Criminal Offenses,
· respond to government requests.
Also, in cases where SFT SEAFOOD may incur losses in case of non-performance or improper performance of your obligations, SFT SEAFOOD has the right to apply to the court, the State Police, to insurers to transfer data about your outstanding obligations to debt collection service providers, as well as legal service providers.

2. Why SFT SEAFOOD processes personal data?
We need to process data in order to contact you. We may also need to process your data in order to enter into a contract with you. In some cases, we need to process data to ensure that we comply with regulatory requirements. SFT SEAFOOD has a legitimate interest in the processing of personal data in the course of cooperation. We may also need to process data from buyers/business partners in order to respond and protect our legitimate interests in the event of claims.
3. Who has access to the data?
Your information may be shared internally to support activities related to the recruitment and hiring process. This includes HR and the department that posted the job, interviewers involved in the candidate assessment process, business line managers with the job, and responsible IT staff if access to their data is necessary to perform their direct duties.
4. How SFT SEAFOOD SIA protects data?
We take the security of your data seriously. We have internal policies and controls in place to ensure that your data is not lost, accidentally deleted, misused, disclosed or accessed by third parties.
5. How long does SFT SEAFOOD keep data?
SFT SEAFOOD will store the data for 6 months after the end of the respective cooperation process. After this period, your data is deleted or destroyed.
6. Your rights
As a data subject, you have several rights. You can:
– access and obtain a copy of your data upon request;
– request SFT SEAFOOD to change incorrect or incomplete data;
– request that SFT SEAFOOD delete or terminate the processing of your data, for example if the data is no longer needed for the purposes of processing; and object to the processing of your data if SFT SEAFOOD bases the processing of your data on legitimate interests.

7. What happens if you do not provide personal data?
If you have not consented to and permitted the processing of your personal data for the purposes and to the extent specified in the rules, then your data will be immediately deleted from the SFT SEAFOOD system as soon as they are received. If you would like to update or supplement your data, you can send us the changes. Changes can be submitted by sending an email to pr@amberfish.lv. You must confirm these terms before submitting any changes.
